The eyes of love can see the star inside every other eye
They can lock on to greatness in some, and lift them to the sky
Like honey shed on a thousand dreams, their words ignite the sunlit beams
And in radiant overcoming, all is right by and by

The light of love, is a brilliant thing
It walks through hell, and still it sings
One breath can breathe a thousand things
By the painting drawn in dazzling schemes... of love

I have seen the rainbow at the end of the long road
I know what it is to collapse in joy at the end of a heavy load

And when all things come to view, we'll see, that God's light can still revive
He renews our strength, as we look to Him
We don't sit and wonder why

For the light of love far outmatches sin
It takes a breath, and walks right in
Love is stronger than death, and we'll see it begin
With the voice waiting in the sky, We'll live again
